| The day after returning from Samoa it snowed in Christchurch! Snow on the Skifields in the Southern Alps has been really good in general so we thought we drive out to the closest Skiearea, the Porters (about 85km). We had fantastic weather, bobsled down the Castle Hills and enjoyed a little snow ball fight :) |  |

We spend a lovely week on Samoa - or to be precise in the Coconuts Beach Club on Upolu :) We enjoyed the sun, constant 30°C, snorkelling, kayaking, food, cocktails at sunset and our overwater fale. Apologies for getting carried away with the underwater fotos... |
| Our trip up North - towards even more sunshine - around Christmas 2007. We took the early ferry from Picton to Wellington, visited Te Papa, spend a wonderfull time in Otorohanga at Pete & Rebeccas place, and where then lucky enough to be invited along to New Years at the beach at the Coromondal :) |  |

| Our first day trip with Micky (our new Car) and Niki. We went to Gore Bay which is some 100 km north of CHC and then came back inland via the Waipara Valley with its Wineries (Only did one tasting though). | |
| Our wedding on Amrum in August 2007 just before moving to NZ. We had marvelous weather and fantastic guests! Thanks to all that made this such a special day for us. |
